Well how about lunch. Date's take place at night, you both dress up, and pretend to be someone your not. The whole thing is rushed, and by the end of it everybody involved is nervous. It's basically two people being fake for a night. A romantic lunch for me seems more sensible. We meet share a meal in the middle of an average day. Really get to see the other person in real life. Then if things are nice we can make dinner plans latter.
