Ideal Romance to Me Is... Being treated like a lady, with respect. Having the right to voice my opinions and perspectives and even if they are not something agreed upon, at least allow me the respect to be who I am and you can agree to disagree. I had to get that out of the way first because it is THAT IMPORTANT to me. So, I am a bit old -fashioned because I don't want the art of chivalry and respect and old-fashioned "dating" to totally die. I love having the car door opened for me and doors opened in other places. I love dressing up and being told I look beautiful, hot, sexy or even all 3 of those terms! I think going out to a quaint dinner or a fancy dinner and then taking a walk in the moonlight, holding hands, and kissing under the stars is the beginning of a romantic date to me. I would love to lie on a blanket next to the water and hear the water lap at the shore. Going home and being held and softly caressed til I fall asleep (after making passionate, deep love -IF I already KNEW my date really well and was IN love with him), would be my idea of the perfect date. If we JUST met, we could do all the stuff up til the going home part...I think a nightcap at home, some kissing and caressing and an honest "I'll call you tomorrow" would be a perfect FIRST date. I don't ask for much and I am not hard to please.
