I arrive to pick you about an hour or two before sunset on a nice and balmy day. Flowers are nice, but you'd mentioned that you love candles, and I have a nice and scented one for you to burn when you feel like relaxing. Our first destination: a restaurant where we can have a light, elegant dinner and then go for a leisurely walk in a nearby park. Conversation with you is easy, comfortable, and often thought provoking, since you're a very interesting person. Often, it's dotted with soft smiles and light joking. The sun begins to set and an ever so soft breeze begins to stir. It's just as well, since we're going to the comedy club, and now is about the time that we should be heading there.
We're seated, and the show begins, and for the next several hours we lose ourselves in laughter and light drinks, often pointing out things that were exceptionally funny to either of us, or both of us, and sharing that laughter between us. The show ends, and it's a little nippy outside, which affords me the opportunity to be chivalrous, and maybe a little corny as I offer you my jacket and my arm. We stroll from theater to a nearby restaurant now for a more hearty meal, and more great conversation. Here, we can be ourselves, but on our best behavior. Putting our best foot forward to one another as I learn more about who you really are and what your true passions are. Here, I may be a little more serious, but relaxed nonetheless as I tell you my thoughts. I've complimented you for most of the date, as you very well deserve, and now is no different.
It's still a little early as we had back to your home, I'd like to drop you off and not be too late. As we settle into my car, I hand you a box with a red bow on it. What could this be, you wonder as you untie the bow and remove the cover. There, staring up at you sweetly is a teddy bear, with a little bow and tag around his neck
I drop you off with a peck on the cheek, and you call and upon my arrival home, you call....
