I'd imagine with a first date, it could be awkward going full-out straight away... Yet there are simple innocent things that can be done, and that I believe a man should do, out of common curtosy. E.x. If you have 1 of the old cars that need to be manually unlocked, open her door for her, and walk around the car as she reaches over and opens yours. Take her to a dinner and a movie. Not something out of budget, but a nice restaurant with a peacefull atmosphere, that allows opportunity for a pleasent conversation, and getting to know one another better. Go for a movie afterwards and possibly a night walk and ice cream to round up the evening.
