What ever happened to... Wanting to have someone to protect, care for cherish...just enjoying each others company, holding hands, doing little things through out the day to show how much you appreciate your partner, little notes and e-mails and texts saying stuff like "just thinking of you" (not excessively)...what ever happened to putting someone else's needs or wishes before your own, compromise, mutual agreements, being considerate...whatever happened to respect, monogamy...true Love...growing old together...sharing your lives...forever. I was in a 10yr long term relationship that I thought was a life term relationship and my favorite thing was always feeling him next to me and waking up next to him knowing that I was next to that one person that I loved who loved me back, together against all odds forever...I thought. I'd like to meet men that understand this concept. I'm usually attracted to older men that smoke cigarettes (I have a bit of a fet--- for it) who have a few extra pounds and facial hair.
