" remembering yesterday is what keeps me believing , what is wrong with society today? don't you want to live what is worth living?
there is this melody in my heart that plays everytime see my ancestors face ...
oh man , that warm embrace, i would love to in take.. if only i can free my soul , & escape ... what a world that would create..."stuck on yesterday" as they say .. but not my favorite refference , you see ... i am more like suck on what could have been.. if my blood wasn't spilled back then ...before they branded us with a white name ,.. hmm.. what could of been.. that woulda been the day.. when we could walk outside and finally breathe fresh clean air , hey !!it's only fair !! .. when the trees would brush the wind on my face.. would of been the day... where i would dance for the sun , before it was gone... that woulda been the day... when i could watch the sunset, and record the beauty of the colors in my head, please dont set just yet! .. that would of been the day...where the flowers bloom , til they got tired and went to sleep, when the critters would leap and hunt their days eat...that woulda been the day, when i see my brothers and sisters dancing for you and me. that would be the day , when i will run down the pasture , and up the mountains , in free will.
that would be the day.... brother...sister...when i see you all smiling on your own....that would be the day..when we all understand what it was meant to be... can't you see?
that will be the day... that i will be home .
